Proverbs 18: 21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
All through the Bible, it warns us about watching what we speak. This verse proves that our words have power– the power to uplift someone or tear them down, for example. God created the world by speaking it into existence! If we are created in His image, does it not stand to reason that our words too have power?
