Big Announcements!

Hey everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day! I usually put out a Holiday Fact post, but today I was super busy with new preparations for my site, as you may have noticed! But if you’d like to read last year’s New Years Fact (apparently I only did one), you can go here!

I also noticed I finally have fifty followers, and I wanted to do something special! You may notice some new things going on around here, so I’m here to explain all the changes and what you all can look forward to in the weeks to come!

Announcement #1: My New Domain Name!

So you all may have noticed my domain name is no longer “achristiangirlwrites.wordpress.com” but now is “kayadelin.com”. So that is now my new site name, just so you all know. I think the link achristiangirlwrites.wordpress.com still works, however.

Announcement #2: My New Pen Name!

So as you may have noticed from above, my site name is “Kay Adelin”. Well, originally, I planned for my pen name to be “Kay Leigh” as I have used on this site. However, as that domain name was already taken, I decided I needed to do something different. After much prayer and consulting with family and friends, I finally settled on “Kay Adelin” as my pen name! What do you all think of it?

Announcement #3: My New Site Picture!

So, since my site is obviously no longer “A Christian Girl Writes”, I had to replace that picture with my new pen name. However, this current picture will hopefully only be temporary. I want my dad or brother to make me a new profile picture which fits more with my vibe and the future of this site, so keep an eye out for that!

Announcement #4: New Site Content!

And finally for the last announcement! I’m hoping to add a lot more interactive content this year with you all, including polls, quizzes, and maybe even some surveys! Please let me know in the comments below what sort of content you would like me to focus on, whether that be continuing my book reviews and holiday posts, writing more short stories, posting more Bible verses, or even something totally different you’d like me to do.

Are there some things you’d like me to do quizzes on? Bible facts, quizzes on how well you know certain fictional characters or what fictional character you’re most like?

Polls on what books I should read, what sort of story I should write next? What about an interactive story that I write, basing the next part of the story off the poll answers?

Should I have some guest posts or repost from other sites more? What sort of content would you like to see more of? Writing tips? Book reviews? Medieval facts? Bible reading thoughts? Doing Tag questions? Answering questions about myself/my work in progress? Something else?
