Hello Again!

Hello everyone! I’m sorry for the extended breaks in my blogging lately! Things have been crazy with the holidays, New Years preparations, and other such things, and I’m afraid I have neglected this…

So, once again, I am going to TRY to post at LEAST once a week. However, this time, things are going to be a bit different.

So, if any of you are writers out here, you know how hard it can be sometimes just to find time to sit down and just write! What can be even harder is when we sit down to write, and stare at our computer screen and just… stare at a blank page… our minds even blanker. And though sometimes it is good to force yourself to write and just put words down on paper, oftener, its best not to force yourself, as then sometimes the story turns out sounding forced and unnatural.

Saying that, though, I will try to still get a part of my short story out at least once every two weeks, or even once a week, but if I just can’t find time or have the ideas to write it, there might be a little lag in it.

So, I have decided that since I want to blog more, but I don’t want to force myself to write if I just don’t have the right ideas, or somehow can’t find time, I shall do a simple little blog post every Tuesday, which I’ve decided to name Scripture Tuesdays!

Obviously by my blog name, I am a committed Christian, and I love the Lord and His Word. Thus, it seemed fitting that I should have a blog post dedicated to Scriptures! Now I will still be doing my short story posts, and my other random writing tips and such (I’m so sorry I haven’t gotten back to those…) but they might not be as often.

For these, I may just post a scripture, other times I may put my thoughts on it down, depending on if I have time. Another little thing I have to add here too… if something happens where I may be very busy on a Tuesday and will probably not get to posting a Scripture, I will try to make sure I post one either on Wednesday or Monday.

And as I will be busy tomorrow, I will open this new series up with one of my favorite Bible quotes!

Proverbs 4:20-23 (KJV)

20: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

21: Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

22: For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

23: Keep they heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

I think that there’s no better scripture to start out with than this one! It’s basically saying that we should be thinking about the Word, listening to the Word, and keeping it before our eyes, for it is life and health! It also warns us to keep our hearts with ALL diligence– watch what we allow ourselves to see, hear, and speak, for our lives and the lives of others can also be affected by our choices.

Thank you all for visiting my blog, and I really appreciate the likes and comments! They encourage me very much! God bless! ~ C.G
